Spike Lee launches ABSOLUT Brooklyn at the 5th Edition of Brooklyn Blogfest 2010

by Carolina Frederico on June 10, 2010

What Blogs and Brooklyn have in common? Apparently they really love each other! The 5th Annual Edition of Brooklyn Blogfest 2010 was a celebration of Brooklyn’s attitude and lifestyle, expressed trough so many blogs written on or about this New York City borough.

Seems to be a fact that Brooklyn holds the biggest amount of blogs and bloggers, what makes it a very special place in the world for creativity and specially for the ones interested in expressing their own ideas to be heard by the world. That is why “Create. Inspire. Blog” was the theme of the party!

Was also that atmosphere and attitude that inspired ABSOLUT Vodka to develop in collaboration with Spike Lee a limited edition of ABSOLUT Brooklyn, exclusively launched at Brooklyn Blogfest 2010, with the presence of Spike Lee himself, who even answered a few questions from the audience.

Bloggers School had the pleasure to attend Brooklyn Blogfest for the first time. The event happened this last Wednesday, June 8th, at the Brooklyn Lyceum, and was a total success. A mix of very cool people, bloggers or not, got together in pro of their passion for Brooklyn.

Right before Spike Lee was present to the public, Lemon Andersen rapped in words his experience of living in of Brooklyn.

For the after party, Oaxaca provided delicious Mexican eats, and ABSOLUT, of course, took care of the drinks, offering a sort of 2 different drinks make with ABSOLUT Brooklyn, a vodka made with red apple and ginger flavor. Take a look at recipes and more information about the new ABSOLUT Brooklyn.
